EA Mobile chooses Marmalade to take their top franchises from iOS to Android and beyond. A great example of this is “NEED FOR SPEED™ Shift”, the leading console racing experience, which was developed originally for iOS. Using Marmalade, EA Mobile was able easily to port the game simultaneously to Android, Symbian, bada and beyond.

When porting to Android, Marmalade’s smooth support for multiple asset sets, texture compression types, and full access to OpenGL ES 2.0 allowed EA Mobile to exploit all the power of the highest-end devices. For example, many of the Android tablets will feature additional OpenGL ES 2.0 effects such as the rear view mirror and enhanced particles.
