Hi,
Firstly I've been having problems with the marmalade viewer, it doesn't respond to key inputs for some reason.. I cant control the camera.. this happens when im exporting models from 3D Studio Max and is happening since version 6.0.
And secondly I've just noticed a problem that I cant seem to export 360 degree rotations of objects when exporting single bones.. I have a fan which is supposed to rotate 360 degrees, it animates fine in studio max but when i view it in the viewer or in-game for that matter, the fan rotates 180 degrees clockwise and then 180 degrees counter clockwise. My anim file looks like so:
CIwAnim
{
skeleton "SingleBone"
// Keyframe# 0
CIwAnimKeyFrame
{
time 0
bone "SingleBone"
pos {0.00009,478.73145,82.72765}
rot {0.00000,0.00000,-0.00000,-1}
}
// Keyframe# 25
CIwAnimKeyFrame
{
time 0.83333
bone "SingleBone"
pos {0.00009,478.73145,82.72765}
rot {1,0.00000,-0.00000,0.00000}
}
// Keyframe# 50
CIwAnimKeyFrame
{
time 1.66667
bone "SingleBone"
pos {0.00009,478.73145,82.72765}
rot {-0.00000,0.00000,-0.00000,-1}
}
}

Yep noticed that issue as well.
Also my artist is saying export from Maya doesn't work anymore as of 6.0.3.
Can you try this?:
If your timeline is 10 frames long, set a key at 0 then set a key at frame 10.
On frame 10, rotate the object 359 degrees.
play the animation to make sure it's making a full rotaion, and set the animation curves to be linear.
Try viewing that in marmalade.
Hope this helps.
Weird, i can swear i had tried this before but either ways its working fine if i do i rotate it twice with 179 degrees on each half..
and yea i had set the curves to linear before this too, but that hadnt helped..
Thanks man.. but i still cant move the camera in the viewer with mouse, just hoping it gets fixed in the next release..
