We were in attendance at the annual Mobile Entertainment Awards last night in London with our fingers crossed as Marmalade went up against some of the industry’s finest in the Best Cross-Platform Tool Provider category. We were elated to walk away with the trophy after a 2012 that has seen us add Web Marmalade, desktop, LG Smart TV, MIPS, BlackBerry 10 and shortly Windows Phone 8 to our constantly expanding list of supported platforms and devices. We’re humbled by Mobile Entertainment’s recognition of our efforts and we are extremely grateful to all those who voted for us. Above all we would like to thank our dedicated team who have worked tirelessly to bring Marmalade to where it is today.

About the awards:
The seventh annual ME Awards took place at the Royal Garden Hotel in London on Thursday, November 29th, attracting over 300 senior professionals from all over the world.
They were established by Mobile Entertainment, an online news source for the mobile content market, in 2006 to celebrate innovation and success in the industry.

Katy Phillips, publisher of Mobile Entertainment, said: "It's been another fantastic year for the mobile content industry and we are proud to be able to recognise the success and achievements of all our finalists and winners with another hugely successful awards night.

"Our industry has changed significantly in the last 12 months, which means that we’ve had to cast the net far wider to highlight the innovators of today. Last night we handed out awards in 23 categories. In a change from the usual line up we saw new giants emerging from the AR, Enterprise and Games Monetisation sectors and I’m certain that next year we’ll expand even further. My congratulations to all the winners."

The ME Awards winners were decided by a judging panel, drawn from the Mobile Entertainment contacts book and consisting of around 500 execs from all sectors of the business.
